GAY PEOPLE'S CHRONICLE November 20, 1992
LAWYERS THAT CARE
"Jim Brown and Marcia Margolius handled my claim as if I was the most important client they had. They were not only my lawyers but my friends." G.I.
"Without Marcia Margolius I would have never won my claim for SSI. Now I get some money every month and my medical bills paid." R.P.
"I didn't know that you could get Social Security and Workers' Compensation at the same time until I retained Brown and Margolius. With Comp and Social Security I had coverage for all of my medical bills." B.B.
"When it comes to disability benefits, no one can get you every penny you deserve better than Marcia Margolius and Jim Brown." J.S.
"When Jim Brown won my Workers' Compensation claim all of my medical bills were paid, I was compensated for my time off work and I even received money after I returned to work." L.P.
If you or your friends have Social Security or Workers' Compensation questions, have them call the people with the answers.

The Chorus kicks off its fifth season with its annual Holiday Concert, Christmas... Then and Now, to be held Sunday, December 13 at the Cuyahoga Community College Metro Campus Auditorium. We'll be featuring a number of holiday standards, including "Silver Bells," "The Little Drummer Boy," and "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas." These are guaranteed to put you right in that special holiday mood.
But wait a minute--let's throw in a number of decidedly nonstandard works just for kicks. We'll be performing two pieces by the always unpredictable, always hilarious P.D.Q. Bach. The Chorus will also delve into the unconventional with Daniel Pinkham's "In the Beginning of Creation." This innovative piece features recorded tape loops, babbling whispered vocals and other miscellaneous sounds that signify the creation of the universe. "Jingle Bells" it isn't! We'll also be featuring gay composer Mark Riese's splendid "Then and Now."
So whether your tastes run toward the traditional or the avant-garde, you'll find much to like about our upcoming program.
Tickets for the holiday concert are eight dollars in advance and ten dollars at the door. Advance tickets are available at the Gay and Lesbian Community Center, Gifts

For the first time this year, the Chorus is offering a season subscription by mail-three concerts for $22. That's a substantial savings over the normal price, and it guarantees you a seat at all performances. Call 473-8919 to order tickets or season passes.
Though the North Coast Men's Chorus exists primarily as a musical performing group, it also strives to enhance gay pride and to provide its membership with good, clean fun. Our first-ever movie night and potluck dinner on Friday, November 6 provided just that.
Another Chorus social event was a night at the Cleveland Ballet on November 12. No, we didn't perform in tutus, but the sight of so many fine-looking gentlemen attending the ballet together threw more than a few society matrons for a loop!
Finally, we want to wish the best of luck to the Coastliners (our chamber ensemble) as they participate in the Center Stage II Talent Show. The event is being held November 21 to benefit the Greater Cleveland Lesbian and Gay Community Services Center.
Please plan to attend Center Stage II to cheer your favorites on and see what new talent the community has to offer. We hope the benefit brings in loads of much-needed cash for the Center, and may the best men and women win!
